Week One Models

Some of the models I made in week one:

differentiation of the larger trading room into smaller units. The scaling feature is a lace-like structure that supports the information screens that the traders need to have access to at all points in the room.

the relationship of the gallery space to the pits and booths below, without regard for the floor area or enclosure conditions of the larger room. I used lace paper to show that the booths and pits have permiable, suggested volumes, however, the model reads as if they are more solid than intended.

two conceptual models of the pits as individual spaces. How are the various trading pits iterated within the context of the larger room?
